Welcome to the official website of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya,Dhanewa –Dhanei, Maharajganj, U.P.Since its establishment in 1999, it has been continuing its efforts in imparting modern and quality education to the selected rural talented children of the district Maharajganj which is situated in the foot hills of the Himalaya and is assumed to be one of the backward Districts of Uttar Pradesh in the field of education, though culturally very high. Free boarding and lodging provided by the vidyalaya has been proved a great help in the field of education for the poor population of the District. Though the very first batch of class XII has appeared at Board Examination in this year(2008),a very good result is expected from them. On the other hand third Batch of class X has appeared this year at Board Examinations while the previous two batches of class X have produced very good results with more than 97.50% pass percentage and 92.80 % and 93.8% highest marks in the years 2006 and 2007 respectively. Two students of Class XI were selected by Dakshna Foundation for coaching for JEE in the year 2007 and 06 Students have been selected theis year(2008)for the same coaching .A number of students have been selected for final examinations of NTSE this year. Many have shown their potential in the field of Games, Sports , CCA, Science-Exhibition etc.

Smiling rose and marigold flowers in plenty in the campus produce a very beautiful look of the campus and force the visitors to visit the vidyalaya again and again.

With the valuable guidance from the higher Authorities of NVS , kind co-operation of the District Authorities and continuous efforts made by the staff and students of vidyalaya ,I am sure ,this vidyalaya will emerge as a landmark in the field of Education and a pace setting institute of the District and will keep its efforts continue for serving the people of not only the District but also of the nation for better tomorrow.
